On Saturday, May 11, the 15th annual Randi’s Race: A 5K Run/Walk for Hope and Courage raised $50,019, setting a record for us.
We also had the highest number of teams – 16 this year – raising more than $8,600! Thank you for your commitment, enthusiasm, creating your own team shirts and for introducing Randi’s Race to more and more people each year. Top Team Fundraisers were:
- Team Sue with $2,473
- Randi’s Renegades with $2,228
- Title and Go with $1,915
More results, including individual winners can be found here.
The funds will be used to support programs through Randi’s House of Angels (RHOA) for children who are victims of and/or exposed to domestic violence. RHOA programs include Randi’s Kidz Club, a ten-week therapeutic group for children ages 8-13; Randi’s Camp, a three-day interactive summer camp; and Randi’s Klubhouse, an interactive therapeutic group for children 5-7.
The winner of our Papa John’s Pizza contest was Ashley Britcher McMillen of #TeamSue! Ashley won free pizza each week for the remainder of the year! Thanks for participating.
Thank you again and hope to see you again next year. Save the date for Saturday, May 9, 2020.
