Content Areas: Today, we are discussing how trauma-informed care is reshaping probation practices & why, as well as how Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), including exposure to intimate partner violence (IPV), impact youth in the system. We will look at the link between teen dating violence (TDV) and juvenile justice involvement. Additionally, we will discuss how family involvement impacts youth outcomes within the system. The role of healthy relationships in preventing delinquency and resources for families navigating the system are also discussed.
